Thank you for stopping by! I’m Ilze, and I make small-batch pottery in New Providence, New Jersey. This is a quiet gallery of the work I’ve been creating — a space removed from the everyday noise of social media and ever-shifting trends. I cannot say that I’m a lifelong ceramicist — more like someone who fell in love with the process a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since. What started as a creative outlet and a bit of gentle escapism has [not so] slowly grown into a practice I deeply adore and enjoy.

I create most of my work from my basement studio, but I continue to learn at Mud Clay Studio in Madison, NJ — a supportive community that has played a super important role in this endeavor.
